A man charged with murdering one woman and raping another earlier this year has been charged with a second murder.
Simon Levy, 40, will appear at Westminster magistrates court on Tuesday over the death of Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo, 53, whose body was found in south London in March.
He was already charged with the murder of Sheryl Wilkins, 39, in Tottenham, north London, whose body was found in September. He was also charged in September with a rape and grievous bodily harm against another woman in Tottenham in January.

Levy had been arrested in April for Valencia-Trujillo’s murder, and released under investigation.
The Metropolitan police urged anyone with information about Levy and the offences he has been charged with, or other allegations, to contact them.
Met commander Clair Kelland said: “The investigation into Simon Levy is one of great complexity. We are working closely with partners across relevant boroughs, including Haringey and Southwark, to encourage reporting and raise awareness of the support we can provide to victim-survivors.
“We believe there may be people who are aware of Levy who have not yet made a report to the police.
“Whether you are a victim-survivor, or someone with information, we urge you to come forward and speak to us.”
The Met said that they had been called on 17 March to reports of an unresponsive woman at a property on the Aylesbury Estate in south London. Police said that the cause of Valencia-Trujillo’s death could not be determined and that on 1 April, Levy was arrested on suspicion of her murder. He was released under investigation.
On 24 August Wilkins’ body was found on Tottenham High Road. Levy, also from Tottenham, was arrested for her murder more than a week after her body was found.
The Met said: “On Thursday, 4 September, Levy was re-arrested in connection with Carmenza’s death and also for the murder of Sheryl Wilkins, 39, who died on Sunday, 24 August on High Road, Tottenham.
“Levy was charged with Sheryl’s murder on Sunday, 7 September. While in custody, he was further arrested in relation to a separate incident on Tuesday, 21 January, involving another woman in High Road, Tottenham. He was charged with two counts of rape, grievous bodily harm, and intentional suffocation in relation to that.”
Police added: “All three cases are now being treated as part of a single, joined investigation.
“Detectives believe there may be individuals who have information relevant to this investigation – or who are yet to report incidents which have directly impacted them – and are asking for people to come forward.”
Levy, of Tottenham, will also appear at the Central criminal court on Wednesday for a pre-trial hearing over his charge of murder in relation to the death of Wilkins.
