March marks the 30th anniversary of the murders of 16 children and one teacher at Dunblane primary school. This moving documentary explores the day and its aftermath, when parents campaigned for the banning of handguns for private use in the UK. It’s a positive coda, but the horror is inescapable and many clearly remain traumatised. “Those children were given to my care,” says deputy headteacher Fiona Eadington, “and I didn’t protect them.” Phil Harrison
