Climate crisis catastrophes, charismatic religious leaders and a troubled girl who reckons she can predict the end of the world … there’s a lot going on in this ambitious new five-part drama. Set in Wales during a brutal heatwave, the story follows Dr Gabs Fox (Ruth Madeley), who is dealing with the trauma of an accident that left her paralysed and her husband dead. As she returns to work as a therapist at a psychiatric hospital, her first case is Bethany Krall (India Amarteifio), a mouthy teenager who draws disturbing sketches and claims they come true. Is there truth to any of it? Ruth Jones, Iwan Rheon and Jack Farthing complete the impressive cast. Hollie Richardson
