Bump

11.10pm, BBC One

It is the fifth and final season of the underrated comedy drama about an Aussie family that you probably haven’t watched – but really should catch up with. It started with teenage students Oly and Santi unexpectedly having baby Jacinda – but Jacinda is now a little girl, and feels left out as everybody else deals with her grandmother Angie’s cancer diagnosis, so decides to make a new friend. Her father, meanwhile, is developing “Toilet Baby” for the screen – the story of how she was born. Hollie Richardson

Joanna Page’s Wild Life

6.30pm, BBC Two

A wildlife series that is exactly as twee and wholesome as it sounds. The Gavin & Stacey star is training as a volunteer at her local wildlife rescue centre, and this week she tends to a hedgehog with a sore head, a hungry owl and two chicks that need special care. HR

It’s the great challenge of our belt-tightening times: how to eat healthily on a budget. Family chef Jamie Oliver demonstrates a frugal and fun recipe for spaghetti frittata, plus how clever cuts of meat can create a delicious DIY takeaway. And not a Turkey Twizzler in sight. Ellen E Jones

The Simple Life

8pm, BBC Three
Twenty years ago, millennials hit reality-show gold with this show in which two wealthy, famous LA girls – Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie – ditched their credit cards to live and (very half-heartedly) work with American families. The 00s nostalgia is strong with this rerun of the series, and it’s just as stupidly enjoyable as ever. HR

Silent Witness

9pm, BBC One
We last saw eccentric profiler Jane De Freitas (Zoe Telford) a decade ago when she helped the Lyell Centre team crack a tricky sniper case. Now she’s back leading an investigation into the brutal murder of an estate agent with a tangled past. All signs point to a revenge killing, but what does it have to do with politics? Graeme Virtue

24 Hours in Police Custody: The Norfolk Narco Cartel

9pm, Channel 4
Equal parts documentary and thriller, this episode of the crime series tracks a police operation that goes way beyond its initial brief. When drugs are found hidden in equipment heading for the UK, Norfolk police hold off on arrests and follow the items to their final destination. What they find is a leap into the world of Latin American drug cartels. Phil Harrison

Danielle Macdonald, late of The Tourist, is the compelling central figure in Geremy Jasper’s 8 Mile-adjacent tale of an aspiring New Jersey rapper. Patti to her failed rock-singer mum (Bridget Everett), Killer P to Siddharth Dhananjay’s bandmate Jheri, Dumbo to her dismissive peers, she veers from hip-hop braggadocio to real-world despair as she dreams of escaping a life of bartending and waitressing. Could an anarchist beats-maker called Basterd (Mamoudou Athie) be the solution? Simon Wardell
