An incredible documentary about the imprisoned musicians who formed six orchestras commissioned by the Nazis in the concentration camp. London-based composer Leo Geyer has spent years searching the archives and piecing together the remaining music scores to conduct special performances for the first time in 80 years, while survivors share their accounts: “You suddenly remembered that there is a world that we used to know,” one woman says of hearing the music that played in the camp.
