Tom Daley and his Technicolor dream poncho welcome you to the yarn barn, where 10 knitting nerds are competing to be named the very best. But how entertaining can people knitting garments be? Well, this is a bunch of kooky characters with stories to tell, and the end results really are incredible. First up, they must make a vest before splitting into teams to knit sofa covers. As the rain comes and the fish don’t, there’s time for a trip to the pub, with Whitehouse recalling a childhood in Wales and Bob impersonating a snooty waiter. JS
