GOAL! Newcastle 2-2 Bournemouth (Ramsey 88)
Bournemouth concede another late goal and Newcastle are level! Nothing looks to be happening as Murphy’s cross is underhit. But Newcastle recycle the ball, Barnes has a swing and a miss in the box and while others freeze, Ramsey calmly strokes the ball past Petrovic to pull the hosts level.

87 min: Truffert is booked for manhandling Murphy near the touchline.

86 min: When is the late Newcastle charge going to emerge? Nothing so far as Bournemouth continue to press. Marco Rose winning the tactical battle so far.
85 min: Smith takes a cross to the side of his head and goes down. Only a brief delay though as he shakes himself back to clarity.
84 min: Bournemouth take a short free-kick and as the Newcastle wall stands still rather than charges out, Tavernier pings a left-footer which goes well wide. Dozy defending though.
83 min: Scott evades a couple of tackles before being tripped by Ramsey. A smart bit of running the clock down.
81 min: Boos as Smith slowly limps to the sidelines to get treatment. The camera pans to Dan Burns and his son in the stands. Both smile and Burns Jr give a cheery wave. Has no-one told him the score?! Probably just a lovely, happy fella like his dad.
80 min: The second half has been way less entertaining than the first. Bournemouth have been happy to hold what they have and Newcastle haven’t got their dangerous forwards into the game. All the substitutions have rather affected the flow as well.
79 min: A reminder for Bournemouth that they’ve been leading both their Premier League games so far only to slump to a defeat and a draw from those winning positions.
77 min: Two more Newcastle subs. Murphy and Steur on for Elanga and Gonzalez.
76 min: Newcastle fans looking a little hacked off as Botman plays the ball straight out after trying to chip a pass down the line to Hall.
75 min: Sweet turn by Fernandez-Pardo in the box but his cross deflects back of him. Bournemouth bring on Cook and Brooks for Kluivert and Adams.
73 min: Tavernier bursts down the left but can’t get a shot off. Scott has a go but it’s off target.
72 min: Time shortly for Bournemouth to make some changes as they try to see this one out.
70 min: Newcastle have scored twice in both their Premier League matches so far. They’ll have to keep that record going to get anything from this. It’s all getting to Jaissle, who is booked for going out of his marked zone.
69 min: Fernandez-Pardo wins a corner and then crosses into the box. Hills heads clear but Bournemouth are somewhat on the back foot now. Some light relief as Scott expertly controls a ball out of the sky before being fouled by Wissa.
68 min: Into the final quarter of the ‘Eddie Howe doesn’t manage either anymore’ derby.
67 min: From the free-kick, Hall and Gonzalez combine but the cross is headed clear. It’s hurl into the box time from Dedic but Bournemouth do enough to clear before winning their own free-kick.
66 min: Kluivert takes a yellow after wrestling Fernandez-Pardo to the ground.
65 min: Hornicek has to show nimble feet, his drag back stopping Kluivert robbing him of the ball as the goalkeeper tries to clear.
63 min: Here comes the double Newcastle change. Off go Willock and Miley and on come Ramsey and Fernandez-Pardo.
62 min: Bournemouth cut through Newcastle easily and Scott’s shot from distance is blocked, all the pace taken out of it before Hornicek picks up.
61 min: Looks like we’re about to see the new exciting summer signing Fernandez-Pardo.
60 min: From the corner, Newcastle work it to Hall who tries an ambitious curler from 30 yards but it’s way off target. The hosts are preparing a double substitution.
59 min: Adams exacts some revenge on Wissa and bundles the DR Congo striker to the ground, giving away a free-kick. Barnes teases in a cross from a central/right area and it’s headed behind for a corner.
57 min: Wissa blocks off Adams and becomes the second player to be booked. A frustrated Jaissle pounds the floor in frustration. Bournemouth attack and Truffert’s cross goes straight out.
56 min: Silva tries a ball forward with the outside of his boot but it comes off a different part of his foot and goes out tamely for a throw. Hopefully he doesn’t play golf.
55 min: Truffert wins a corner down the left which Scott wanders over to take. He takes it short to Truffert whose ball in is headed clear by Hall. A waste.
54 min: Newcastle trying to build up a head of steam now as Bournemouth rather feel their way into the second half.
52 min: So close for Newcastle. Wissa burrows forwards down the right and crosses, Elanga flicks it on and Willock’s angled header from close range just drops the wrong side of the Bournemouth post from a Newcastle point of view.

51 min: Hall shields his eyes from the sun after a high ball drops from the skies. Rayan runs into him and the Newcastle left-back wins a free-kick.
50 min: Evanilson, who had a strong first 45, is back on his feet again. Play resumes with Newcastle in possession.
48 min: A break in play as Evanilson goes down clutching his face.
47 min: Willock is flagged offside after a sprinting into the box and feeding Barnes. Fairly clear decision.
47 min: Jaissle has removed his smart jacket, like a man pacing with intent, ready to hit the dancefloor at a wedding.

HALF TIME: Newcastle 1-2 Bournemouth
Bournemouth lead at the break and deservedly so. Jaissle will have plenty to say although that Barnes curler has given the hosts fresh optimism.
45 min +3: Bournemouth’s press continues to stifle Newcastle and Thiaw flaps, giving away possession. A cross from Truffert is well dealt with by Miley as Rayan sniffs an opportunity.
45 min +2: Barnes tries to pick out Elanga with a cross but Petrovic plucks that one from the skies.
45 min +1: Can Newcastle find something before the break? They’re hogging possession now but can’t really get Wissa into the game.
44 min: Hall launches a free-kick to the edge of the box but Silva heads away. Kluivert is fouled by Gonzalez as he tries to break. The visitors will be glad to see this through to half-time now. Three minutes to add on.
42 min: Much more intent from Newcastle now. That second Bournemouth goal has really sparked them into action and, of course, they’ve already halved the deficit.
40 min: Rayan’s cross hits Hall in the chest inside the six-yard box and Hornicek has to be alert. The ball had probably gone out before the Brazilian played it in though.
39 min: Blimey, that was all a bit crazy. Glenn Hoddle’s 3-3 prediction could be spot on.
GOAL! Newcastle 1-2 Bournemouth (Barnes 37)
Before the mood really drops, Newcastle hit back straight away. Just 27 seconds from the kick off, Barnes gets the ball down the left from a Hall pass, cuts inside and curls a beauty into the top corner past Petrovic. What a response!

GOAL! Newcastle 0-2 Bournemouth (Thiaw o.g. 35)
It had been coming! Bournemouth break and Kluivert’s thumping effort from distance hits the post and rebounds off the goalkeeper. Scott follows up and his cross/shot off Thiaw deflects up and over Hornicek. But….

33 min: Both sides cough up possession before a cross from Dedic on the right is easy for Petrovic to pluck out of the air.
32 min: The near post corner is sliced behind by Elanga for another. Tavernier has another go and this time goes short. Bournemouth work the ball across to Truffert but his left footer from distance is charged down by Willock. But… the ball comes back to Bournemouth. That’s the story of his half.
31 min: Kluivert bursts into space and pings one from 25 yards. It deflects off Botman for a corner but that could easily have wrong-footed Hornicek and gone in.
30 min: Silva looks a little unshaken as he runs his fingers through his immaculate hair. On we go.
28 min: Ouch! Silva goes up for a header and is clattered into by Elanga. It’s a booking. Shoulder on head. Elanga not happy but it was a bit clumsy.
